The brewery describes this beer, brewed in collaboration with Wibby Brewing, as a West Coast pilsner, but there's not really a category for that in these listings. I'd almost go as far as calling it an Imperial with the 6.1% ABV, but not quite. So this is a loose approximation. In any case, it's pretty hoppy for a pilsner, which you'd expect - "West Coast" tends to imply hoppier, at least as far as the term gets applied to IPAs. I enjoyed this beer even though it packed a little more of a punch than your average pilsner. As long as you know that going in, you're going to like this one.
