Look is hazy, translucent gold with a small fizzy white head that quickly dissolves.
Smells like pungent fermented peach, barnyard, oak, vanilla, tannins, very sour, vinegary.
Taste follows the nose; sharp smack of sour peach, very acidic, mellow sweetness, heavy vanilla-oak, barnyard, mildew, etc. Finishes crisp and clean, wonderful lingering sourness.
Fizzy, crisp, medium-light bodied, incredibly drinkable and refreshing.

Even though this isn't my usual style of beer, I thought I'd give it a try. It's a collaboration beer with Paradox Brewing, from another part of Colorado and a brewery I've never tried. This is an oak-aged tart peach ale, pretty low alcohol but full of flavor. I expected a lot more sediment and haze but it poured nice and clear. You get the peach flavor up front and then the tartness really kicks in later. I didn't get too much of the barrel flavoring, but I guess I'd have to try the original version to compare. Still, this was a nice change of pace.
