Laura Ingalls would have drank it and you should too!! A pretty classic Hefe that has just the right balance of Banana and Clove

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival half a finger of head was present which is how bartenders here pour pints. The body is slightly hazy, obviously less so than I'd expect, and is a standard golden yellow color.
Aroma is yeasty and smells like a hefe, but there is a rubbery off smell that I just can't get past and is gonna lose a lot of points from me. I'm not sure if that is autolysis or something else, but it isn't great. Literally I'm picking up notes of burnt rubber.
The flavor is certainly better as it doesn't taste like a burnout, but I'm still picking up a bit of a slightly savory off note I havent actually come across before, but it is much more subtle. It is malty and yeasty and I am picking up th signature hefe banana that I love so much, so it isn't bad despite the scare in the aroma.
The feel is completely normal for a hefe. Lightly malty with a medium long finish while encouraging drinking more without dryness.
Overall the aroma is a glaring flaw, but the fact I didn't pick it up in the flavor is generally a redemption. It could be better, but it could be much worse.
