The first note I notice is apricot, followed by the brightness of pineapple and then mellowing out with hoppy goodness, pine on the back end, followed up with the distinct flavor of malt. Mouthfeel could improve with a little more bite from carbonation; out of the can, it's a little flatter than I'd prefer. Worth a try!

Handsome dark amber with long-lasting foam in the Frydenlund pub glass. Aromatic with pine and dry California grassy hills. The taste is malty without much sweetness with tangy hints of pineapple. Light and spritzy mouthfeel. Some woody sensation in the aftertaste. Moderate bitterness but distinctly hoppy. Overall this is a better than average Amber Ale. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bottlecraft Liberty Station. Not dated.
