Bought from Woodman's Kenosha. Priced like a prestige brew.
I'm not a fan of fruited sours, so I will not be the first review here. I rate this brew below its UnTappd 4.17 average.
I can say this Plumpy is well-crafted; but this crosses the line from tart (which I tolerate) to quite sour (which I do not.)
However in my micro-review, I do give points for retro bottles and well-designed labels. Only four years old, 1840 is ambitious in the breadth of styles and I, frankly, should have started with one of their saisons. I also give points for micros helping to revitalize our major cities and since Milwaukee has a championship basketball team, I guess that qualifies.
