Pours brown in color with some red hues and a 1 finger off white head that retains nicely.
Smell has some deep rich caramel malt aromas that has some very slight rye spice near the end. Some herbal hop aromas are also detectable near the end.
Taste follows the nose with really rich caramel flavor forward that is balanced out with a mild roasted malt flavor that has light toffee notes. Very mild herbal hop bitterness balances the sweetness nicely.
Mouthfeel is good slightly sticky from the rich malt keeps it from being too thin. Carbonation is medium and cuts the thickness nicely.
