Did Half Acre name a beer after the local cop shop diner on Ashland... or is it a vague custom cycle reference... eh whatever. Brewed with an unnamed Eastern European hop varietal.

Draft at the tap room, quick review from written notes.

Hazy gold orange body, compact layer of surface foam, fades to a wispy skim and drippy arcs of lace as the glass is sipped.

Pungent aroma, bitter greens, something vaguely fruity, but hard to pin down.

Taste is somewhat citrusy, resinous and bitter upfront, hop character doesn't hit you over the head, but it's different. Light bodied and crisp. Very easy to put down, described informally as the first in their summer slammer series.

Drink this and watch Santa Cruz - A Reason For Living.
