Hazy orange/gold with a frothy white head. You can really smell the rye and there's almost a rotting tropical fruit scent, which might not sound appetizing but is. The taste is distinctly spicy rye but not overwhelming. The hops are there but fairly subdued. There's a good balance between the malt and hops. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy and rather dry. Not a mind blower but unique and enjoyable beer.

Nice carbination Citra and rye balanced.Mouthfeel medium spice bitter overall good.Crisp and refreshing. On tap in my basement. Compared to New Oberpfalz Imp Rye IPA very close.I like New Oberpfalz slightly better mouthfeel and higher abv.

As good as any RyePA. I think I got some hints of Citra, and this brew was superbly balanced. Didn't hurt that it was my birthday, and the Cubs clinched the NLDS the night we enjoyed a growler. Some in our party remarked that they liked it best out of PW's Lizard King and Amarillo Ninja. You might too. Try it!

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery taproom.
Pours a cloudy light amber with a thin white head that left lots of lacing down the glass.
The aroma is quite nice: citrus, tropicals and some peppery rye spice all hit the nose.
A tasty brew indeed. Chewy with plenty of tropical fruit on the palate, especially pineapple and mango. That's followed by some peppery rye spiciness and a lemony and bright finish with a lingering and memorable bitter.
Mouthfeel is medium and a touch sticky.
Really good.
