Nice Black IPA, not so much a stout.
Black body with a fair amount of foam, frothy edges and spotty lace.
Aroma was resiny and roasty with a hint of fruity hops, but I'd be hard pressed to identify them as Galaxy. Taste was bitter and resiny, lightly roasty. Light bodied without much malt to anchor it. Overall it was a good beer as is, just lacked tropical Galaxy notes and a substantial body for a stout.
