Had this on 2027-01-24 in Warrenville, IL at World of Beer on tap
A - Fairly cloudy gold with a short white head and good lace
S - Herbal dank with some tropical. On the mild side.
T - Tropical, melon, citrus zest, lightly toasted oat bread, light caramel, grassy/herbal spice, balanced bitter/malt finish.
M - Medium body and carbonation. Smooth, slick and substantial. Excellent.
O - The flavor and feel are right up my alley.

Pretty hazy oat IPA by Half Acre. The issue I have with oats in an IPA is that the ones I've had seem to have added oat to the detriment of the hop flavor. This doesn't entirely buck the trend, but is more hop-forward that it could've been, so I'm not displeased. Tasty (not quite as tasty as Animal Law, which seems fairly similar), and with a nice feel to it. As usual, tastes like a Half Acre beer (not necessarily a bad thing!).

I tried this in their tap room. A hazy light orange juice color. Smell is orangy and citrusy bursting fresh smell. A great blend of honey, melon, and slight citrus. I also picked up notes of tobacco leaves. A nice crisp beer with medium carbonation. If you make it to half acre this is worth a try.
