22oz bottle into a snifter. Gold colored wax. Dark and toasty. Fizzy light ran head quickly dissipated. The Pink Himalayan Salt is evident in the finish. Good beer.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, blue session. Aroma is dominated by fresh coffee beans. Taste follows with lots of coffee, cacao, dark chocolate and a bitter, roasty finish. One noted but really good.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at The Art of Beer on March 9, 2017. Look is dark brown with a thick tan head and spotty lacing. Smell and taste is coffee and some dark roasted malt. Feel is full in body.

On draft, served in a snifter.
Deep dark dark brown color with some medium foam that forms but dissipates quickly. Aroma has a good bit of dark roasted coffee, with mild chocolate. The taste also has an abundance of roasted coffee notes and very mild chocolate, which work well together. The after taste is smooth. But, like with other Big Hugs the feel is quite thin.
Out of the 2016 line up of Big Hugs, I would take this over both the regular and Vanilla (haven't had the BA version).

Pour at the Modern Times Carnival of Caffeination. I was looking forward to this after trying and really liking Benthic at EBF, but this was a bit of a mess. The flavors just didn't come together.
