Now & Then India Pale Ale pulls back the bead curtain on a fully fogged, fruit cocktail resin blend only found in the cold case, past the bulk bins. Citra, Comet and Simcoe seep through an English strain for a holistic, integrated, personal mega-smudge.

16 oz can dated 4/3/19 poured into Odell Teku.

Hazy gold amber with a fluffy head of 1 finger.

Lots of citrus fruits and tropical fruits on the nose, with some sweaty pineapple and cantaloupe, white grapefruit, tangerine, clementine, and oranges. Very slight pale and honey malt.

Flavor is much the same, split about 60/40 between tropical and your typical domestic fruits. Cantaloupe/melon, tangerine, honey, lots of papaya, starfruit, mango, and grapefruit. Not much in the way of malts and that's okay.

Juicy and acidic, with slight semi-creaminess.

Overall, a really solid NE IPA that I'd be happy to pick up again.

Love the Half Acre IPAs and always try them. This one is seasonal. Lots of citrus and tropical fruit with some piney bitterness at the end. Very nice IPA.

Thanks to Joe for this one. Sort of.

Tastes like every other lactose IPA. Maybe better balanced with sharper hops. Citrus rind, touch of pine. Nice spicy finish.

Canned on 4-3-19
L: Almost clear ..copper. Post pour is almost a flat head.. with some mild lacing scattered about.
S: Citrus, herbal and tropical. Are berries sneaking in there?
T: Except for those "UFO" berries.. the taste is a match for the aroma.
F: Very smooth, a tad on the watery side. Bitterness is mild and/or fleeting. No carbonation.
O: Excellent tasting, very good aroma. MF is good, but not great due to the
