The sour that made me change my mind about sours. Aged in Cab Sauvignon wine barrels with a hint of brett infection (or flavoring, however you see it), and with hundreds of pounds of two types of cherries, this one-off Gentle Gentle recipe was a winner. Sour, dark, a little brett spark on the tongue, and with a real cherry presence... maybe my first sour love of all time. Very well made, hope they do it again, or something like it.

Medium sour that dies down after several sips. Tons of sweet and tart cherry. Vinous

Tasted at The Big North 2 at Half Acre Brewing Company on August 19, 2017. A wild ale brewed with Balaton and Montmorency cherries. A nice balance of sweet and sour.
