A nice new lactose pale ale; this hash become my new 'starter' beer when at Half Acre taproom. It's super-light at 4.4% but the taste and body of it punches far above that ABV, it remains interesting. It doesn't have a lot of complex character to it, but for a craft version of a daily drinker, it's quite interesting. Could drink this all day... cheers.

Look: Lightly colored, like a pineapple-yellow. Had a very small head.
Smell: Very fruity. Tropical smells.
Taste: Very light and I noticed pineapple to be more prominent than the other tropical fruits.
Feel: Thin feel, making it very easy to drink.
Overall: This pale ale was delicious. If I didn't have to drive back downstate, fighting eclipse traffic, I definitely would have had another. One of four new to me Half Acre beers I had this weekend, with the others on Friday.

Tasted at The Big North 2 at Half Acre Brewing Company on August 19, 2017. Described by Half Acre as a "hoppy brew." I believe it was brewed with lactose. Recommended.
