A traditional malt bill hopped with Tettnang and Liberty before being fermented and aged nine weeks in French oak. Black pepper and dandelion greens on the nose, with a rounded mouthfeel and soft acidity building flavors of golden berry and citrus pith.

Very solid beer. Drank from the tap at Torst in Brooklyn, NY. Really amazing flavor profile with berries and apple. Solid yeastiness with a good sour finish - almost like a Kriek. The best of the 9 beers I tried over the night.

Had on tap. The oak was meant for this beer, as it really helped define all aspects. The smell is full of oak, more bitter berries like lingonberry, and apple. The taste brings a yeasty wave of supporting flavors, like grape, fig, cane sugar, and sweet corn. Has sweeter oak sour finish. Different and fun, yet not overpowering
