This one pours a fairly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like orange creamsicle, marijuana, candied citrus, bubble gum, stone fruit, and lime.

The regular version of this beer is excellent, and this seems to be a version of it on steroids. It’s super juicy, but still with a clean resinous bitterness, with juicy fruit bubble gum, peach rings, orange creamsicle, and grapefruit.

This is medium bodied, very creamy, and super drinkable.

This was quite enjoyable, and I always enjoy having Half Acre at my disposal.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 6/21/21, had 8/1/21.

Pours a bright, hazy orange, with a two inch creamy foam head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Very good retention. Aromas of pineapple, some grapefruit, orange, some melon, a little lime, light pine. Smells a little floral. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, pine- lots as it warms, malt, some pineapple, light melon, a little lime and peach. Tastes a little floral, with a light hop bitterness. Smooth, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.

Juicy and refreshing, aromas and flavors pop out. The citrus and resiny hops are well balanced, with a solid malt base. Really enjoyable.

Snagging the same can as Everyone else 3/22 so 10 months old not expecting much but here we go! Wow does it look like a hazy IPA like full on brown tinted orange juice with a bit of life in a 1/4 inch of foam that settles to a sticky ring. Smells of A bit of pine and mango nothing went off but its quite faint and malty. Might be a bad sign. Ah taste is a total malt bomb some stingy herbal hops to keep it in check but this one is way past its prime or maybe this is kind of how it tastes? I don't know mouthfeel is a bit medium to heavy sipping is a chore.

Picked this up last time I was in Ohio about two months ago not sure even that would have made a difference to drink it then. While not terrible I would recommend a fresher can

Got in a BIF from FBarber. 16 ounce can into IPA glass, canned on 3/23/2022. Pours turbid opaque golden orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with amazing retention, lasting cap, thick foamy lacing, and moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, ruby grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, bread dough, toast, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Long resinous drying finish with no cloying and minimal hop astringency. Mild warmth of 8.2% and hop burn lingering after the finish. I reviewed DDC over 9 years ago in a bottle. This is clearly just a NEIPA version of the base beer, and I loved it just as much. Amazing Simcoe, Amarillo, CTZ, and Citra profile. Tons of vibrant citrus/tropical juice, with balancing dank/earthy hop flavors; and nice sized malt backbone with zero lingering sweetness from the long resinous finish. Very smooth and nicely soft feel for the ABV. Plenty of great yeast fruitiness from the Conan and London III yeasts.

I really enjoyed this one. My favorite of the Daisy Cutters. Great tropical, creme Brulee Aroma. Taste is tropical fruits and various citrus with a minimally, but noticeable, spicy kick. Feel is soft and smooth with medium light carbonation. Overall, a very good double ipa.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, orange, mango and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel, piney and some spicy hops.

a: super murky burnt orange and copper color. a touch of pale yellow as well. poured a real nice 2 finger creamy off-white head

s: loads of tropical fruit. super ripe mango, pineapple, orange, and huge note of peach. crackers, grass, and some honeydew. a touch of guava and strawberry kiwi. a bit of a bready note on the back end. smells super ripe

t: strawberry kiwi, guava, and mango upfront. passionfruit, papaya, sweet pineapple, and loads of peach. some earthy tea leaf bitterness on the sides of the tongue along with some grapefruit. i like that there is a kick of bitterness at the end of this - brings balance. there's a bit of a bready note in the backbone as well

m: super fluffy, almost chewy, medium mouthfeel. medium-low carbonation. a bit of syrupy stickiness

o: a pretty nice NEDIPA. it's not overly sweet, and has a nice balance from some bitterness at the backend. I'd buy again for sure - it's a peach bomb, and super ripe

Anybody else remember when Daisy Cutter was the hot thing out of Chicago? I ‘member. North of a decade ago if it was a day. 16 oz. can of this…variant.

The pour might be a little more orange than the original but still: NE IPA to its hoppy roots. The nose rousingly dank, with damp grass & citrus.

Double Daisy Cutter – Fully Saturated was the solution to the 90s West Coast-East Coast battles. The initial impression is the furthest northeast that you can get with big citrus, mango, melon, papaya, make up a tropical fruit & it’s probably in there. Behind that dripping is a powerhouse West Coast IPA – piney, resinous, & bitter as a jilted RenFest wench. Or seven, there’s a lot of bitterness here. Full. The intensity makes it probably a one and done.

Someone please notify Half Acre this is 2021 & bitterness doesn’t fly here & Gotye isn’t a thing anymore. Hard-hitting & tasty, this is an excellent IPA amidst a sea of orange-tinted mediocrity.
