A beautiful mixed culture wild (wyld) ale. Just stunning stuff, had on tap at the HA Lincoln taproom on Nov 1, 2018.
L - Gorgeous color, carbonation, nice foamy head that dissipates quickly but fantastic pink/amber glow
S - Didn't give as much away here, but you can almost smell the bruised/sour fruit aspects...
T - Where HP shines, a wonderful mix of sour, champagne, ciderlike qualities, and pithy fruits. Yum. Keeps you coming back, but not gulping due to the sour/acid balance. Not too acidic.
F - Again, beautiful balance of wild tongue perk on the palate, just enough sour, just enough acid and bubbles. Classy shit.
O - one of their best wyld efforts. I sampled the PawPaw/Loam efforts, but those weren't as good imho. Cheers.
