Had on tap. Maybe the best beer I had at Fobab this year. Granted I do love the original benthic, but I am telling you this is so worth your time. Still dark with big coffee, booze and semisweet chocolate notes, but not add even more coconut and a sweet cinnamon that adds another dimension to smell and taste. Rich, not too sweet and rewarding. Body not as huge as original, but has more layers

11/17/18 (Chicago): 3 oz 14.0% ABV pour at FOBAB into taster glass. Black pour, nice creamy tan head and lacing. Strong toasted coconut and chocolate aroma, nicely balanced not too sweet. Very balanced taste, whiskey arrives after pour warms, coconut and chocolate on first taste. Creamy mouth feel, pleasant, smooth drinking. Overall excellent pour!
