Hazy golden color with a foamy off-white head, this beautiful IPA has loads of citrus aromas on the nose, with grapefruit, tangerine, and mango notes providing a slightly dank bouquet that is the very definition of the West Coast-style IPA.
The grapefruit is most prominent on the taste, and the tangerine and mango flavors help balance the bitterness. The finish is dry and the mouthfeel has some bite, which is to style. A really nice example of the style - could easily pound a couple of these in a sitting.

Purchased today from the Lincoln shop. Canned 7/16, today is 7/23. Pours yellow gold, with the slightest off-white head. Initial pour is crystal clear, but the last few drops of the can bring cloudiness to the glass. The smell is my favorite thing about this beer. Brings me right back to San Diego. Huge, bright and sweet grapefruit. This is what I look for in West Coast IPA. Smell it again and there is mango and tangerine underneath that grapefruit. The flavor consists of mostly crackery malt and citrus pith. The pithy bitterness rides smoothly through the finish. Lingering pine resin in the finish along with the grapefruit pith and assertive bitterness. The aroma is still pouring out of the top of the glass as I finish it. Fucking awesome IPA.
