Poured into a pint glass from draft tap at a craft bar in my local area.
I was intrigued when I saw this one on the list for one of my favorite craft bars on Untappd. I’m also not a huge follower of Half Acre but I thought this one sounded interesting so I made the effort to go down and try it.
Nice pour. Color is deep honey, gold.
Nice looking beer. Little to no head retention. Overall though, a great looking beer. Visually everything is there.
Smells like hoppy, fresh, layered beer goodness! No complaints in this department whatsoever.
Taste is wonderful. Getting berries and fruits galore. Hoppy fruity juice punch. I actually set the glass down and let out an audible WOW to which the bartender shot me a humorous “yeah?” So... excellent taste. Overall one of the more impressive NEIPA’s I’ve tried recently.
Feel is smooth, pillowy and not aggressive at all. Great coating on the taste buds. Lingering fruit esters and nice balance. I would call this a medium bodied mouthfeel. Excellent.
Overall - I’m impressed and glad I tried this brew. Would like to see it in a retail setting, I’d drink a 4-6 pack of this by myself easily over the course of a night or several nights. Great beer!
