A summer IPA that finds itself in an interesting space between historic West Coast and today’s tableau of haze. Parrot of Paradise delivers clean fluff made particularly unique with the use of two experimental strains that emit strong fruited, berry bubble yum aromas and a sweetness contained nicely by an IPA bitterness echoing from the early aughts. We maintained a mindful hopping rate & ABV that keeps the Parrot perfectly positioned for the re-opening of our Balmoral Beer Garden.

3rd review. Re-added by Act 25. Love this brewer, this beer is alive and well.
Just bought fresh at 38th & 3rd Ave NYC. 9-15-21. Very very fresh and good.
Perhaps the best from 1/2 acre Chicago.
a) Purrs a healthy head that lasts and laces over amber body.
s) lemony, floral, hoppy. Fresh sawn wood, sunny grass and herbs.
t) Follows smell but brings way more bubble gum, flower shop, wood shop strains, finished by tree sap hops.
f) SIippery, silky mouth feel with lively carb tickle.
o) Original in a sea of otherwise citric haze bombs. Bravo.

S: juicy mango & citrus
T: zesty orange & grapefruit, piney mango, juicy tropical fruit
F: fuller body, moderate carbonation, resinous and bitter, dry finish
O: this was great! Thanks for giving me a can to try, Ken!

Very cool beer. I had no idea what to expect but picked up a 4 pack because it was fresh and I enjoy Half Acre beers. Glad I can get it fresh here on the east coast especially something fun like this beer. It has a very foamy mouth feel and true orange scent and taste. Like a juicy New England IPA but with a little different finish. This is a great unique beer that I highly recommend.

L - crystal clear west coast/Pacific banger; head is good, good lacing down the glass. Nice.
S - A pineapple and a mango hooked up in a binge-drinking contest and woke up bitter.
T - See above; more of the same, I'm surprised at this beer but I'm not sure why; definitely on the lean side of tropical, finishes a little clean and then dives off the edge.
F- good carbonation for minutes on end in the glass, good crisp finish, not a strong aftertaste just well made.
O - I like it, not sure I"d buy a ton of it, but it's a really interesting well-made experimental hope IPA from HA.
