Pours a dark orange - brown color. Mostly clear with a bit of cloudiness present. Nice thick off-white head forms, then dissipates, but never completely. At least a 1/4 inch of foam lingers on top of the beer. Aroma has notes of earthy malts with some orange marmalade and spice coming though on the nose. A touch of tea and yeast is also present on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with a nice malty profile up front with some light earthy hops, orange marmalade, black tea, and spice. Perfectly balanced throughout. Light bitterness in the mid to back end of the profile. Feel is light, crisp, easy drinking and smooth. Really vibrant carbonation.
This is a really well done bitter. The ideal "session" beer as its easy drinking, but doesn't pack much of a punch in the ABV department.
