Holiday Porter.
Hiemal was brewed using mostly barley and rye grown and malted in Indiana by Caleb Michalke and his family at Sugar Creek Malt Co. A specialty heavy malt bill comprised of Dark Crystal, Crystal Rye, Belgian Special B, Chocolate Rye and Dark Chocolate contribute layers of baker's chocolate and subtle roast, with a complex rye spice. Hopped and dry-hopped generously with Hersbruker, Chinook, Centennial and Sabro. Collectively, they offer a mild herbaceous spice and a sledgehammer of pine.
