Gossamer Golden Ale used to be a year-round beer for us. We’ve always pulled it back out and have made tweaks to it over the years, but it continues to be a beer crammed with little details that floats like cirrus clouds in your glass. Our ability to create body at low ABV without the weight has gotten better over the years, which really shines in 2025 Gossamer. It still hits with bready, bright melon and is your beer when the sun is up. This new label tracks very well to the beer.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, malts. Taste is the same as the aroma, highly refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

A - Medium gold color with some slight chill haze and a moderately dense ring of lacing and not much carbonation coming from this can pour.
S - Very light cereal malt with citrus.
T - Dare I say it "follows the nose"? Light grain base malt up front but quickly gets buried with some resiny citrus to finish things out. After the sip, there's a long, lingering mixture of light grain and citrus on the palate.
M - For the ABV, there's a big mouthfeel with gentle carbonation and just a touch of thinness around the edges.
O - For such a low ABV, this one delivers the goods. Worth checking out!

I had this on draft 8/31/25 @ the Beer Temple.
Mostly opaque orange/yellow appearance.
Nice bright white head; a thick curtain of lacing remained.
Fresh soap, orange peel & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Fresh soap & dry wheat flavors.
Interesting but not exactly my dream flavor profile.

On-tap at the brewery on the way to the Cubs game. Really disappointed that this beer has such a low score. A killer blonde with enough hops to make it special yet keep it light. Incredible body with a perfect balance. Fantastic!
