Almost crystal clear yellow with gold highlights with an inch of tight creamy head.
Guava dominates almost at arm’s length with lemon and other citrus notes.
Taste follows the aromas with a puckering juiciness.
Brewer talks about it standing away from flagship Daisy Cutter - maybe should say standing above.

12 oz can into a pint glass. Hazy slightly pale straw color with one finger of white foam that left sticky lace. Earthy hops dominate the aroma with some faint grapefruit citrus lurking in the back. More pronounced citrus flavors in the taste -- grapefruit, orange, guava mostly, with complementing earthy/piney hop bitterness. Medium, slightly chewy feel.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Kroger store. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent and taste had a Squirt...or 50/50 soda flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured a cloudy, gold body with good head and lace sheath down the glass. The aroma is plain old dirty and earthy citric hops. Beer has a taste that is a little medicinal and funky, almost like onions at one point, with a bitter earthiness and crisp finish that is sharp and even cutting at times.

12oz can, dated 01.25.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 02.26.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a bright yellow gold color, straw hues, slight cloudiness with a foamy, soapy, white head, great retention and webbed lacing. The aroma is nice, earthy hop, grapefruit citrus, pine, wildflower, pale grain, and mineral water. The flavors are nice, bright floral hop, earthy and dank bitter hop qualities, green and piney, grapefruit peel, sweet dough, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, lively medium body, crisp with a dry finish.

Verdict: A solid pale ale from Half Acre. Easy, packed with expressive hops, and very sessionable.

I enjoyed this APA, which had plenty of hop flavor without actually being too hoppy. That's a fine line, but it wasn't sticky or dank like a lot of pale ales that are really just disguised as IPAs. The standard in my part of the country for a hoppy pale ale is Dale's, and this one is a bit more tropical without being too overwhelming. I'd say that grapefruit and maybe guava are the tropical flavors here, but it's not sweet at all, and it's nicely balanced.

It looks like a hazy/NEIPA, smells like one also, tastes like one. Let's call this a NE/Hazy pale ale and be done with it.
