A hazy, unfiltered, dense DIPA. Employing big stair-step hop tricks -- mash hops, a cooled whirlpool charge, and a big drop to stack layers of individual hop qualities. Nelson + Cashmere bring high free thiols while Citra delivers a high terpene alcohol & ester blur. This all combines in a behemoth of tropical citrus aromas & flavors. The Mountain pours opaque with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel plump on joosey tangerine & papaya.

16oz can, dated 02.05.2024, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 02.22.2024, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a very hazy and cloudy orange color, turbid with honey hues, a nice foamy white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is good, tons of citrus and tropical fruits, herbal tea, grassy, green, white grape and pale dough. The flavors are good, juicy tropical fruits, lots of bright citrus, wildflower, white grape, grassy and earthy, pine, herbal tea with sweet yeast, pale grain, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, creamy, smooth medium body and a dry crisp finish.
Verdict: A really nice and bright hazy IPA from Half Acre. Juicy, bright, and well balanced with a great earthy and bitter hop quality. Smooth and easy that packs a punch.
