West Coast Double India Pale Ale
Drip Castle features Krush, a newly developed hop, paired with classic Chinook to claim fresh territory within the West Coast DIPA realm. Ultra clear on the pour, Drip Castle has a warm boozy note balanced by assertive bitterness and an extremely dry finish. Krush provides raspberry pie blended with the resin and pine from Chinook that hits under-appreciated flavor receptors. This holiday season, spend some time in the Castle.

Nice looking beer, light mahogany in color and caramalt hue with ample foam that when slowly poured will puff up as high as you like
Reasonable scents of grass and herbaceous brown bread with a hint of fruity pine
Things get interesting here. The Krush addition reveals itself straight away as a strawberry note comes in quickly subdued by pine sap and caramel maltiness. There is a noted lack of bitterness for a WCIPA.
Medium to full body
Overall, an interesting and different IPA for me as this is my first go with Krush. Low bitterness hurts its rating, but otherwise this is enjoyable and worth a try
