Gold Back West Coast Pilsner drifts in with polished clarity. Brisk malt undercurrents bolster a resonant glow of tangerine, guava, and pine. It’s lagered with precision, then layered with Chinook, Simcoe Cryo, and a pop of Simcoe Quantum, tipping into summer heat like a lifeline. One sip leaves you looking for the next ripple, and we’re swimming in ‘em.

Amazing transformational ride from a sense that I’m drinking a hoppy IPA to suddenly it’s a malty Pilsner. I love that transition. It’s a really awesome beer.

A - Light medium gold with moderate, slow carbonation and a thin creamy layer of foam resting on top.
S - Some spicy citrus and a little bit of pine on the nose.
T - Citrus, herbal, some floral, and finishes with a piney bitterness over top of a light, crisp malt base.
M - Medium body with prickly carbonation.
O - I'd buy this again and dig the idea of West Coast meets Pilsner.

I had this on draft 9/5/25 @ the Hopleaf.
Mostly see-through orange appearance.
Big bright white head; a thick curtain of lacing remained.
Pine & mild honey notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Tangy grapefruit & dry pine flavors.
A bit harsh on my tender palate; not for me.

Clear gold color with snow white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, very IPA-like. Taste is tropical too: pineapple and mango. I can't really taste much malt. Body is light and crisp. A well-made beer but the hops just don't suit my palate.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of orange, tropical, fruit, bright, citrus, and pine. (3.50)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tropical berries with some juicy pie notes underneath. Juicy with a mild bitterness. (3.50)
Feel: Medium body, strong, carbonation, finishes, juicy with a mild de moderate bitterness. (3.75)
Compared to Fair State Pils 9/25: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More tropical berries and citrus, Less bitter floral pine.
Overall: Half-Acre with a West-Coast Pils, whatever that means anymore. I am expecting something bitter. Nope, it's juicy and tropical, with a mild bitterness. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Rating: 3.56)

16 oz can into a pint glass. Mostly clear golden color with a very large, fluffy, long-lasting white head. Bready malt and spicy hop aroma. Taste has a surprising amount of tropical and citrus fruit flavor that overshadows the spicy hops. Medium feel.
