Hops: Dolcita and Mosaic
Notes from Half Acre Beer Company website:
On the eve of Women’s Month, we raise a glass to Foam Fairy.
A Pale Ale with intent – sparkling golden suds out of the can, crowned in a tight white foam. Dolcita and Mosaic fizz and flicker, painting a liquid landscape of berry drenched evergreen and candy store gravity bins.
Brewed in collaboration with Reyes Beverage Group and rooted in respect for the women who move this industry forward every day.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for either 4.03 or $4.30 plus tax. Canned on 02/22/26, so this beer is just over three months old.
Look: Nice medium gold color. The beer has a very slight copper color. There was a two-finger off-white rocky head that dissipated to a thin ring around the glass. Small bubbles are continually rising up the glass. Nice clarity. Slightly hazy after pouring the bottom of the can.
Smell: Smells very interesting. It smells like a mix of candy sweet notes along with earthy, grassy hop notes and a bit of acidic brightness. There are some faint tropical and stone fruit notes coming through. I'm getting some peach, mango. and pineapple. There's also a lot of floral notes here, it's kind of perfumy in a good way.
Taste: Interesting. This is a refreshing, well-balanced American Pale Ale. It has a very nice balance between malty and sweet up front and bitter and dry on the finish.
Feel: It's on the lighter side of medium bodied with a crisp finish. Nicely carbonated.
Overall: A well-done, and different, American Pale Ale. This Dolcita hop is very interesting. It's also hard to get a good read on it because it's not the only hop used here. Even though I am very familiar with Mosaic, it's still hard to identify which features are coming from the Mosaic and which are coming from the Dolcita. All in all, it's very quaffable and I appreciate that it is expressing its uniqueness!

From Good Times Oakland, canned February 11th.
Pours nice clear pale gold with a finger of foam, retention and lacing are excellent.
The smell is hoppy, grassy, grapefruit, piney.
The taste is the above in pretty much that order, finish is weird. From hoppy to a grainy flavour that I don't like. Maybe it's just me?
Good enough mouthfeel, I would not drink this again unless another sampling removes the weird finish that I get.
