Had this a few times at Half Acre. Served in a 5oz taster glass.
A - White foam settles to a collar, wisps on top, and minimal lace. Transparent golden body.
S - Dank, mildly oniony hops, with a touch of grapefruit mixed in. Crackery malts and a mildly Kolsch-esque yeast quality to it.
T - The taste has more of the crackery malt backdrop, with additional notes of bread and toasted grains and a kiss of sweetness. Hops are more grassy here, with some mild bitterness lingering into the finish.
M - Medium-light body, with zesty carbonation and a dry, crisp finish. Pretty refreshing, with a touch of lingering oily hops on the palate.
D - Nice beer. I like this more than Half Acre's other Kolsches. Could use a tad more flavor oomph, but otherwise a enjoyable easy-drinking pale ale that one could drink in large quantities.
