For this one we got together with our buddies at @phasethreebrew yet again to create this 4.7% Landbier appropriately named Lake Zurich Lager.
All the breweries in our town got together to make this ‘beer from the land’ using locally grown malt and hops. It’s an unfiltered, unfussy, and simply delicious tribute to the place we call home.

A new collab between RT & P3 -- one fave, the other not-so.
16 oz. can, canned on 06-10-23, reviewed 07-10-23. Poured into my tall Becher.
L -- Vigorous pour (from experience with the first 2 cans) yields a tall, sudsy white head that crashes faster than the 1929 stock market. Clear yellow body.
S -- Vegetal DMS with tart, near sour citrus -- not much more.
T -- Lightly bready, sweetish malts up front. Light herbal hops back. Finish is bready and grainy with light herbal hops in the aftertaste. The sour vegetal DMS flavor becomes apparent in the aftertaste with warming.
F -- Mouthfeel is soft to lightly crispy (no carbonation) with a light-medium body.
O -- While still flat, and with a little DMS in the nose, this can was much better than the first 2 in the 4-pack -- which were crazy tart and sour with DMS. I would like a touch more malt in the nose and flavor, this just seems bland. Add to that the very dead carbonation and this one isn't terribly appealing.

Canned 7/10/23; drank 7/30/23 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE white head; minimal lacing remained.
Fresh corn, mild hay & faint honey notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Corn, hay & a hint of honey on the palate.
Smelled a bit better than it tasted, but it's quaffable.
