Indulging in this Session NEIPA is like riding a cheetah through a tropical rainforest then plunging into a pineapple-scented oasis. All the floral aroma you'd expect from a heavily dry hopped IPA with a surprisingly easy drinking body. Crack into one of these and let's get friendly.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Picton, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025...

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 4.5%.
Poured a 1 finger head into glass color looks like a grapefruit juice almost hazy light orange or yellow.
Pineapple and grapefruit flavors with a low bitterness level.
A very light new england IPA beer
Overall a very enjoyable beer.
Cheers

Hazy pale lemon yellow with a short-lived moderate head. No lace to speak of. Gentle pineapple nose. A bit of sparkle on the palette. Fruity and pithy to taste. Better on the nose than it is to taste. Thin bodied, easy drinking. Bitter hop finish. Passably good.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Nov 6 2020 and served barely chilled.
Pours a turbid, hazy lemondrop yellow colour, capped off with nearly an inch of soapy, foamy white head that falls apart within two or three minutes. A messy swath of webbed lacing is left behind, in addition to a sudsy collar and filmy cap - looks about right for an NEIPA. I'm getting a muddled mixture of apricot, grapefruit, mango and pineapple on the nose, with much fainter hints of wheaty pale malts. No complaints so far.
It's fine for what it is - a hazy light IPA. I'm getting grapefruit, passion fruit and mango at the forefront, with hints of pineapple and stone fruit developing shortly thereafter. The finish is a little bit grassy, concluding with some pithy grapefruit bitterness that precedes a citrusy, fruity aftertaste that quickly dries out; lightly astringent. Light-medium in body, with moderate carbonation that gently prickles the palate; feels smooth and a little fluffy on the tongue. Very easy to toss back quickly, and pretty refreshing, with just the right amount of residual bitterness for a session IPA.
Final Grade: 3.74, a higher-end B grade. So Many Friends is one of the better session IPAs I've tried as of late, which is a pleasant surprise coming from a brewery I hadn't really heard of until a day or two ago. Light IPAs in general are simply not my bag, so I don't see myself returning to this all that often in the future... but truthfully, I think this is a fairly good one. If you appreciate lighter IPAs more than I do, this is a product worth keeping an eye out for.

473 ml can from the LCBO for around $3.50 CDN. Canned May 29, 2020. Served cool into a pint glass.
Appearance - Pale, mildly hazy golden / peach color with three fingers of loose white head. Loads of visible carbonation and good staying power with the head.
Smell - Citrus up front with mango and guava leading the charge, grapefruit interspersed. Not unique but aromatics are pretty respectable.
Taste - Lightly tropical, grassy with some mango and grapefruit although the depth of the aroma surpasses that of the flavor.
Mouthfeel - Lighter bodied, quite fizzy, easy drinking. Very refreshing for a session IPA.
Overall - Not the best brew out there but easy to drink and enjoyable on a hot day. Hits the sessionability aspect pretty nicely. Worth a try, glad I grabbed 2.
