At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned April 10/25. My fourth beer from the Picton, Ontario brewery, and third for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 10 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a relatively clear pale straw colour, its complexion clouded by countless bits of very fine sediment. One finger of loose, frothy white head sizzles off within sixty seconds, swiftly reduced to a tight collar and a filmy cap; a decent strip of lace sticks to the glass after each sip. Mainly pomelo on the nose - similar to grapefruit, with hints of lemon, lime and white grape.
It's straightforward, but the pomelo citrus flavours are bright and lively. I'm getting sweet grapefruit and lemon rind, with hints of grainy malts and doughy sweetness adding some background support; pithier on the back end, concluding with citrus peel that fades into a drying aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation and a prickly, somewhat frothy mouthfeel; feels crisp on the tongue. Refreshing and highly crushable.
Final Grade: 3.55, a B grade. I've previously had a couple of beers that included pomelo, but Prince Eddy's Raddled Pomelo Lager is the first I've comes across that allows the fruit to stand & shine on its own, for better or for worse. If you've never tried the actual fruit, it's basically a sweeter grapefruit, without the associated bitterness - it makes for a very thirst-quenching radler, and a natural pick on a blistering hot summer afternoon/evening. I've had better radlers, but this one is worth trying simply because of its uniqueness. I'll be buying a few more of these to help wet my whistle during the latter half of summer 2025.
