2017 / Citrus & Gold Raspberries
A: Gold with a faded orange backing, and a red strained highlight. The head is white and obedient, with slight retention against minimal lacing
S: A skunked musk of hay, oaked satchels, and cedar wood to cobwebbed grapes. A continuous occupation of thought as lemon and lime press on against the timbered, grassy, cellared stones
T: More lush grapes and lavish malic, for the spritz, white wine constituent: the estates are prickly, rustic, and earthy as notes ripen with the flowered citrus and raspberry foci. Development remains balanced, and sharply layered, with dusted fruit contributing to an abnormal funk…avoiding the onslaught of a jammy takeover
M: Tastefully light with a heft for involvedness as the clever carbonation permits incessant symphonies
O: A multilayered, thought-provoking, chef-d'oeuvre of spiced oak tannin and skinned fruit, with a wild yeast harmony
