355ml can - simple, no nonsense, and incredibly difficult to read label.

This beer pours a clear, pale golden straw colour, with four fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly bubbly eggshell white head, which leaves some decent dense forest cover pattern lace around the glass as it slowly sinks out of sight.

It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, flabby lager yeast, some ethereal pome fruitiness, a hint of petrol fumes, and very, very tame earthy, musty, and floral hop bitters. The taste is grainy and crackery pale malt, more estery yeastiness, toasted white bread, faint stale apple notes, and more underwhelming leafy, musky, and dead floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-supporting frothiness, the body a solid medium weight, and generally smooth, with a touch of pithy clamminess arising as things warm up a tad around here. It finishes off-dry, the mushy malt predominating.

Overall - yeah, this is just another plain, if serviceable version of the style, something that isn't all that far removed from yer standard BMC stuff. There's no obvious flaws, but that doesn't mean that it's particularly good, either. There's no pop, no sass, nothing that would compel me to desire another.
