(16 oz can, no dating; gifted a single... poured into a fat tulip)
L: clear, but not brilliant, orange-amber liquid; open stable foam sponge on pour, quickly sinking away into a chunky collar
S: orange juice concentrate, woody-spicy pine, burnt edges of crystal 60/90?, mild ping of isopropyl... overall moderately-bold aromas, but (falling) off; perhaps a touch catty as well
T: dried pine needles, herbal grass up front, with a pithy spiced orange swelling in the finish and lingering in the aftertaste, met with some grapefruit peel after a minute; dry with a restrained but subtly toasty grain lingering in the back... a minty note develops in the middle/back by the third sip... pervading character: herbal bitterness, mint-spanked, orange extract
F: real clean, taut-bodied, with a lightly-spanked sting on the tongue to the palate fore... drinkable in a forgettable way; muffled breeze
O: seems like a decent beer, but I'm curious about the details of the fermentation with this batch, maybe the water profile too, etc, as the flavors are bold but arguably muted in expression... maybe it's missing a touch of sweetness? (1744)

A - Deep gold color with a dense bright white layer of foam across the top of the beer. Carbonation is moderate and steady.
S - Sweet caramel malt, floral, and pine aroma.
T - Sweet toasted malt base from start to finish with floral and pine hops.
M - Thick body that's a little thin around the edges and dry on the back of the tongue.
O - Straight up old school which is refreshing for a change.
