Can, no date:
A clear amber-bodied brew that supports a modest volume of white foam atop it for a short period. The nose is a solid mix of sweet, lightly dark bread, equally lightly toasted and a bit of spice to balance things.
A sip has a lighter-than-expected carbonation, though I can see bubbles making their way to the surface, but they evaporate upon making it there. A bit of earthy spice covers for carbonation, though. Taste of caramelized toasted grain (melanoidin) leading to a mineral and mildly bitter finish. A bit of a no frills beverage that fits the profile decently well.
