1812 Brewery is the first and only farm brewery in Allegany County, Maryland. The family owned and operated craft brewery and brew house is located in a repurposed barn built in 1812. In excess of 2,500 square feet, the two-story barn has been converted into a brewery with vats and tanks in place.
Nestled in the mountains of Western Maryland, 1812 Brewery evolved out of a passion for the region and a love for great beer. Our goal is to bring beer brewing back to Cumberland, Maryland and to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to enjoy our beers.
Located on 190 acres, 1812 Brewery has its own hops growing trellis system towering 20 feet high. The barn, itself features original brick walls support a towering roof and massive beams. The outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a sampler while taking in the stunning natural beauty that’s Mountain Maryland.
1812 Brewery offers great space for weddings, parties, meetings and other events. In excess of 2500 square feet, 1812 is the perfect place to hold your next event.

Thursday: 5 - 9 pm
Friday: 5 - 10 pm
Saturday: 12 noon - 10 pm
Sunday: 1 - 8 pm
