I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a five sample fight whilst in Dayton for my Bestie's 50th Birthday celebration. It poured a fruit smoothie purplish with thin rose head that left a spotty lace. The scent had bitter hop and berry notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and bitter berry hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer....I preferred the regular Black Currant.
