Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/4/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Not as cloudy as most hefeweizens, but within style guidelines.
Smell: moderately sweet with a good mix of yeasty banana and clove aromas. The bananas are in the ascendent, which is exactly what I like in a hefeweizen. Not bad at all!
Taste: moderately sweet with a low level of bitterness and an estery character like the aroma. Less banana and more clove; not as good as the aroma but still decent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not too bad a hefeweizen, really. I’d prefer the flavor follow through a little more with that banana from the aroma, but overall, it’s pretty decent.
