Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 2/8/26, and I bought the can at the brewery.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweetish malt with hops that are fruity and just a little tropical. It’s alright, but it doesn’t really come together for me super well.
Taste: like the aroma, it’s kina meh. The malt is a little sweeat and a little toasty, and the hops are a little bit citrusy and earthy with a moderate bitterness. It lacks the big citrus/pine/resin of a good westy.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and actually a pretty good creaminess for the style.
Overall: this beer isn’t terrible; it’s not a drain pour. But I’d definitely not order another one.
