On tap.
The appearance was a nice looking bronzed yellow color with a fair transparency about it. Just a wisp of a clean bar pour's kind of head. No lace.
Here comes the real magic of this beer - the aroma was absolutely captivating, the blackberry sweetness touches down on a keen sweet to tart rhubarb, light rhubarb skin, blackberry flesh rolling into each other absolutely wonderful!
The flavor copied the aroma for the most part, lotsa well blended sweet to tart with a touch of sour. Blackberry and rhubarb meshed so well together that one could barely note the ever so subtle wheat in the background. Light aftertaste of blackberry and rhubarb.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with an amazing sessionability about it. I felt like I could slam the crap outa this beer on our hot Vermont days. Carbonation and ABV seemed secure in their respective tones. Really nice smooth sweet to tart finish with the blackberries.
Overall, this actually was their best beer of the night. Hope they can this.
