I dunno. I really liked this. Tasted like Reeseās peanut butter cups, but with a little stout smooth bitterness... not too sweet but just right. Reminded me of the Night Shift Phone Home except not as thin... great stuff if you are looking for something a little sweet.

L: Standard nearly black color, with good tan lacing.
S: Pleasant dry roasted peanuts dominate the aroma.
T: The strong dry roasted peanut is the dominant flavor, and nicely compliments the somewhat sweet milk stout base beer. A bit of hops round out the finish. Quite drinkable for the surprisingly high ABV.
F: light but creamy.
O: The peanut stands out and elevates this into something memorable.

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark chestnut brown + dark garnet red colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of peanut butter over the top of moderate aromas of roasted + toasted + dark + caramel + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. Light aromas of earthy hops.,
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted + toasted + dark + caramel + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of peanut butter along with moderate flavors of milk chocolate. Finally there is a hint of earthy hops. Light to moderate amounts of roasty bitterness which are quickly overtaken by the lactose sweetness and there is a lingering peanut butter + milk chocolate flavor.
M: Medium to full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation, Slightly creamy/smooth.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and just enough fullness to the mouthfeel to make it enjoyable on slightly warmer fall evenings. Enjoyable with really well integrated peanut butter and chocolate flavors/aromas in a solid milk stout base.

Canned 10/**/20 (smudged a bit)
Pours a med foamy 1 finger slight fizzy off-white head with lower retention, a bit of lacing, very dark basically black color
Nose brings loads of peanutbutter, toasted peanuts, some sweet milk chocolate, and candy chocolate, some toasted biscuity malt and caramel, hint of roast, a little coffee, a crunchy peanutbutter
Taste brings milk chocolate and cocoa up front, then peanutbutter, chunky peanutbutter and roasted peanuts, sweet milk chocolate and some caramel, as well as the milk roasted malt notes, a touch more of the biscuity malt and a little cookie, a bit of bitterness with some from the roasted malts and a little hop bitterness, a little earthy hop flavor, finishes a bit dry, lingering peanutbutter and bitterness
Mouth is med bod, a bit creamy, med to a bit lighter foamy carb, only a hint of alcohol
Overall not bad, loads of peanutbutter on the nose, much less on the taste, but both had some of the base stout there as well, bitterness comes in weird waves but is OK, I do like the chunky peanutbutter character as well, def a sipper but enjoyable nonetheless

Canned on 5/9/20; consumed on 9/27/20
Pours a glossy black body with oaky brown highlights and topped with around two fingers of soapy, dark khaki foam; decent head retention leaves a thin curtain of cap, a moderate, creamy collar, and temporary splotches of webby lacing around the glass.
Aroma opens with a burst of dry roasted peanuts sporting a touch of that silky quality indicating peanut butter off in the distance; hints of vanillin accent while underlying milk chocolate is sparse, as are distant tones of peanut butter cups.
Taste features roasted peanut and spent coffee grounds upfront as subtle chocolate dominates an overall light flavor profile; touches of toasted malts are interspersed throughout, and cardboard touches the finish as milk chocolate and roasted malt lingers on the exhale.
Mouthfeel brings a light-medium body and a sparse, lower-end carbonation; a slightly perceptible grit develops character over an otherwise flat mid-palate, presenting mostly toward the finish; slick, though lacking the heft to carry it much on the palate.
Weak, muddy, and comprehensively inconsistent, the roasted peanut tones from the start point to a glaring lack of not only richness in peanut butter character, but to an unsteady profile soon to come undone, and it unfortunately does just that.
