Our new year-round Lager Beer RIFF CITY was designed to showcase the high-quality ingredients we use to create our lagers. Brewed with a single malt imported from Germany and fermented cold and slow to ensure a smooth lager and accentuate the steeped noble hops. The German malt and lager yeast lend a biscuit-like aroma, mildly sweet yet crisp flavor, and the hops provide a light, floral, and subtle bitter bite culminating in an elevated yet simply delicious offering.

Very clear light gold appearance
Medium bodied with about the same for carbonation
Aroma is biscuit, malt,yeast and earthy hops
Taste is almost dry,grain,cereal, bitter earthy hops

Pours a frothy bubbly 1/2 finger head with fair retention, a bit of lacing, clear light pale color
Nose brings lager malts, a bit of cereal, bread, some vanilla cake batter, doughy, light floral herbal hops
Taste brings more cereal malt up front, grainy, doughy, a touch gristy and vanilla doughy notes, fair herbal hops getting a bit floral and spicy, med light bitterness up front, then dry crisp finish getting more spicy with med bitterness
Mouth is med bod, soft lager, crisp
Overall pretty nice, crisp tasty lager
