Poured into a small chalice: color is hazy straw yellow, head is off white and presents 1/4 inch thick then dissipates to nothing but ring along glass sides and some spotty lacing.
Smell is light malt with notes of biscuit and bread, then light ester notes with light spice and Belgian yeast aromatics.
Taste is similar with simple biscuit and bready malt notes, light ester with hints of clove and spice and Belgian yeast notes.
Mouthfeel is lower carbonation, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.
Overall a unique beer to find and glad I passed by it in CO - bready/malty flavor but not overly sweet, Belgian yeast character but subtler allowing the malt to lead.
