As inviting as a Lake Superior raspberry patch! Raspbecrush is a kettle-soured wheat ale with pail-loads of raspberries. Light, refreshing, and deliciously tart. Hold fast.

On tap. Poured out a cloudy, reddish color with a light pink head of foam. It smelled of raspberry and faint wheat notes. Tart raspberry taste with some sweetness, too. Light caramel and wheat taste.

On tap. White head. Raspberry colored.
Kind of tastes like a raspberry wheat. Not a ton of sour or tartness. Easy drinking. Fairly fruity. Clean. Refreshing on a summer day.

Thanks, Sam!
Got this on Sam and Laura’s visit out here. Description was, “As inviting as a Lake Superior raspberry patch! Raspbecrush is a kettle-soured wheat ale with pail-loads of raspberries. Light, refreshing, and deliciously tart. Hold fast.” I’m a sucker for raspberry beer and was expecting this one to be good.
Poured a copper, murky color with two fingers of frothy white head. Slow moving bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding uneven lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled big notes of raspberry, mixed berry, raspberry puree, hints of butter and a touch of lactose. Better out of the glass than the can, surprisingly. Smell overall was the best on the first whiff. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose, but still the same notes. Got raspberry, raspberry jam, mixed berry and hints of lactose. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Long, tart finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was just an excellent kettle sour. (Overall - 4.25)
