From a 750ml crowler:
Appearance: Slightly hazy gold, nice carbonation, good head.
Smell: Mild smoke, light butyric, metal.
Taste: Mix of light sourness and sweetness, slight butterscotch note, mild smoke. Very nice!
Overall: I really liked this beer! I've only had Fair State's lichtenhainer and it was years ago, so the memory is hazy. Waldmann's has a really nice mix of sweet, sour, and smoke that really hits the spot. Hopefully they keep producing it often.
