A vanilla Russian Imperial Stout. Rich, decadent roasted chocolate with creamy vanilla and espresso coffee overtones.

Growler into pint glass. Pours an inky black with essentially NO head. Initial impression is vanilla, cocoa, espresso, and roasted malts. Mouthfeel is disappointingly thin. Carbonation is light. Finish is slightly bitter and slightly astringent. Improves as it warms, but not my idea of an ideal RIS.
