Large indoor and outdoor seating areas with open atmosphere. Lots of selections on the tap list, and a full food menu. Also right outside the town of Lewes for other leisure options afterwards.

Looks like a big barn. Spacious on the inside. Small bar. Lots of tables and a beer garden/ patio area. Fast service. Very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Enough taps to keep you interested. Food available, but I did not eat.

Went here after a bike ride while visiting the beach in Delaware. The place is in a big red barn. It's very cool looking on the inside. Outdoor seating was in a big tent but had a nice vibe as well. Very summery and relaxed. Nice selection of different beers. All four I had in my flight were very good. Service was fine and the food and drinks came out quickly. Food was good- we all had oyster po boys and different sides.

Nice building, inside is lots of wood, good lighting and a view of the brewing area. The beer quality ranged from below average to slightly above. Good selection of styles, we enjoyed the sours and porter the best, though the NEIPA was decent too. I would have loved to see more variety of beers, particularly the dark styles. We sat at the bar and service was very attentive. Didn't get the chance to have a full meal, though we ordered mussels and fries which were both excellent.

Stopped by yesterday (Saturday).
The place was fairly subdued.. with hushed conversations about. TV's were located strategically in the main area. They had 15-16 beers on tap, consisting of IPA's, Sours, Belgians, darks.
Because we were 1.5 hours from home, we only sampled a flight consisting of: Unreal, Peaches & Cream, Hammerhead and Solar Power. All beers were delicious. Peaches & Cream and Unreal both stood out as my favorites, while my wife liked Solar Power, Peaches & Cream.. and Unreal.
While we sat at the bar and ordered our food, everyone working seemed at ease, and friendly. I had the Turkey burger with mashed potatoes, while my wife had the Dunken Chicken sandwich with Mac n' Cheese. Everything was very tasty, and well prepared/presented. While the sandwiches were very good, and priced rights.. the Mac n' Cheese was top shelf.
We ended our visit by buying a couple 4 packs (Unreal and SLAM!), a crowler (Solar Power) and a shirt for my wife. We both enjoyed the visit, and wish we lived closer.

Friendly staff with a good selection of beers, however, not all winners. We sat at the bar and had steamed shrimp and calamari. Both were done nicely.

This newly-opened location of Big Oyster is associated with Fins Ale House & Raw Bar on Coastal Highway on the far west side of Rehoboth Beach. We stopped here to have lunch and to try their beers. This is a new building that fronts on the highway, and was built in a red barn style for the brewery and pub. The interior has a 12-seat bar towards the rear of the dining area, and the brewing equipment is visible behind it. The dining area has very nice vibe with a fishing theme for all of the wall hangings. A roll-up door opens to a patio at the rear of the building.
There were 14 beers on tap (there are 16 taps plus a hand-pull), including 4 IPAs and one DIPA, 6 other standard-type beer styles, and 3 funky offerings. We chose two 4-glass flights so that we could try as many beers that we could without over-indulging. All of them were brewed very well to their respective styles, with Sadie (a sour mango triple) being the standout. Also notable were Chloe (a Flemish red w/ cranberries) and Mon Cherie Honey Golden Ale. Overall we scored the beers at a B-grade.
And the food was even a notch better than the beers. With a full bar to offer plus a nice wine list, there is something here for everyone. If you want to take some beer home, crowlers are available. For being open for only a week, this place has got everything going right. Highly recommended.
