This German Kölsch was brewed with 10lbs of freshly chopped ginger. I love a good Kölsch, but ginger can easily be overdone. This Kölsch was fantastic and had a vibrant ginger aroma with beautiful softness and just the right amount of ginger notes. I would happily order another beer and visit Big Oyster time and time again.
